1. Information We Collect

When you create or use a Hisab Jankari account, the application may collect or process the following information:

• Mobile number used for account registration and login.
• Name or business name provided by the user.
• A user-created 4-digit PIN used for account authentication.
• Customer names and mobile numbers entered by the user.
• Customer transaction information entered by the user, including amounts, dates and descriptions.
• Cashbook records entered by the user.
• Bill records entered by the user.
• Item and stock-related records entered by the user.
• Staff records entered by the user.
• Collection records entered by the user.
• Other information that the user voluntarily enters into the application.
• Photos or files that the user voluntarily selects through supported attachment features, such as adding a bill image or taking/selecting a photo.

The application does not require users to provide an email address to create or use a Hisab Jankari account.

2. How We Use Information

We may use the information collected or provided through the application to:

• Create and authenticate a user account.
• Allow users to log in using their registered mobile number and 4-digit PIN.
• Allow users to access their account and business records on another device using their account credentials.
• Store and synchronize the user’s business records.
• Display, manage, edit and delete records created by the user.
• Generate reports and documents requested by the user.
• Provide account and record-management functionality.
• Maintain the security, reliability and operation of the application and its backend services.
• Respond to support, privacy or account-deletion requests.

We do not sell users’ personal information or business records.

We do not use users’ business records for advertising purposes.

3. Local Storage and Cloud Storage

Some information may be stored locally on the user’s device so that the application can operate and retain information on that device.

For account synchronization and recovery between devices, account information and supported business records may also be transmitted to and stored on our backend server.

The current version of Hisab Jankari uses a Hostinger-hosted backend and MariaDB database infrastructure for account authentication, cloud storage and synchronization.

Data transmitted between the application and the backend server is sent over HTTPS.

4. Authentication and PIN

Hisab Jankari uses a mobile number and a user-created 4-digit PIN for account authentication.

Users should not share their PIN with other people.

A 4-digit PIN provides less protection than a longer password or OTP-based authentication. Users should therefore choose a PIN that is not easily guessed and should keep their device and account credentials secure.

Authentication information is processed by the Hisab Jankari backend for the purpose of account authentication and access control.

5. Photos, Files and Attachments

The application may allow users to select a photo, take a photo, or select a file for supported record and attachment features.

Access to photos, camera or files is used only when the user chooses to use the related feature.

Users control which photo or file they select through the relevant device permission and selection interface.

The application does not access the user’s photos or files for unrelated purposes.

6. How We Store and Protect Information

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by the application.

The application communicates with its backend server using HTTPS to help protect data while it is transmitted between the user’s device and the server.

Access to account and cloud data is controlled through authentication and server-side access controls.

However, no electronic storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users are responsible for keeping their device, mobile number and PIN secure.

7. Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent users’ personal information or business records.

Information may be processed by service providers that are necessary to operate the Hisab Jankari application and its backend infrastructure.

Our current backend infrastructure is hosted using Hostinger services and uses a MariaDB database for storing supported account and business records.

Such service providers process information as necessary to provide the services used by the application.

We may also disclose information where required by applicable law, legal process, court order or a valid governmental request.

8. Third-Party Services and Infrastructure

Hisab Jankari may use third-party infrastructure or service providers that are necessary to provide the application’s functionality.

The current application uses:

• Hostinger – server hosting and backend infrastructure.
• MariaDB – database technology used by the backend to store supported account and business records.

The application communicates with its backend using HTTPS.

Third-party service providers may process information as necessary to provide the services used by the application.

9. Data Retention

Information may be retained for as long as the user’s account remains active or as necessary to provide the requested services.

Users can delete their Hisab Jankari account through the account deletion option provided inside the application.

When an account deletion request is successfully processed, the account and associated account data stored in the Hisab Jankari backend are deleted, subject to any information that may be required to be retained by law or for legitimate security or legal purposes.

Local data stored on the user’s device may also be cleared when the account deletion process is completed inside the application.

10. Account and Data Deletion

Hisab Jankari provides an account deletion option inside the application.

Users can use the in-app “Delete Account” option to request deletion of their Hisab Jankari account and associated cloud data.
